I ran across a reference to this project last night. This apartment is outfitted with hundreds of sensors that actively monitor what is going on in the space. A central processor then adjusts the environment to suit what is going on. Interesting and frightening.

kind of sounds like the apartment in Blade Runner... although it looks a little brighter, a bit more chipper in its decor
